I have been meaning for some time to plug The Taverna, a new venue which has opened its doors in Five Dock. We heartily approve of the "delicious cross section of Mediterranean food" -- if the Mule could subsist on nothing but dolmades and tzatziki she dern well would -- and also the great line up of singer-songerwriter types, folk, blues and country.
